Hometown fest

had a great time at the Holt hometown fest today. Its nice that its only about 3/4 of a mile down from our house so we walked to the parade this morning and then went back later with Mike, Brooke, Seth, Paul and Lauren so we could go to the kids area that was all free. they had a great time going on the different bounce houses, playing games and getting balloon animals. then we went over to Mason to get some ice cream at Turtle Toms and listen to the music festival they had going on. Looking forward to tonight because I'm pretty sure we will be able to see the fireworks from our deck....fingers crossed!

Happy Birthday Abby

I want to wish a big Happy Birthday to our Abby! I cant believe that she is 5 today! She has been such a blessing and Jon and I are so thankful that God has given us such a wonderful "big" girl.

Party Time!!

First I wanted to thank everyone for coming to Abby's birthday party today. It was a fun time and we are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family! The kids had a great time checking out all the animals that they brought into Abby's party room. then we had fun walking around the zoo. Here are some pictures from the day...

I'm so proud of Abby. She jumped off the diving board for the first time in swim class today. she was so excited and I think maybe a little dissapointed that she only got to do it once. I cant believe how far she has come since last year when she wouldnt even get in a pool that she couldnt touch. My baby is growing up!! (sniff, sniff)
